ILTIS^TM
Hidden, Integrated Tilt Latch and Lock System allows you to disengage the locking and latch mechanism and tilt the sash inward in one graceful motion,  using only the low profile lock lever.

There are no additional tilt latch levers to fumble with.  The tile latch lock itself is engineered with a bolt type tilt engagement rod, which is stronger and provides a more secure sash engagement than the typical latch engagement piece.

Sculpted interior and exterior design delivers a refined new look.  the authentic cove-mold wood design products a beautiful window while the slim profile maximized your view.

Engineered Sloped Sill
A neoprene gasket straddles a rail under compressions and works with a triple-fine weather-stripping for a tight seal.   A mechanical interlock holds the bottom of the sash in place under severe stress.  The exclusive sill dam wall is mortised into our jambs to eliminate common corner seals that frequently leak.  Comfort Foam^TM inside the sill is a unique thermal feature not present in most window sill designs.

K-Beam^TM  - For the ultimate in durability, Kevlar® reinforced fiberglass composite that holds screw threads better than any other material is five times stronger than steel and over 700 times better thermally than aluminum.  K-Beam^TM  is a patent-pending exclusive feature of Soft-Lite Elements^TM that will not transfer heat or cold through the window as summons metal reinforcements does under lesser designs.

Robotically Fusion-Welded Seams B
 Corners are fusion welded and automatically cleaned using the best robotic equipment available for the ultimate in quality consistency.  Many lesser-quality vinyl and all fiberglass and wood windows are "screwed and glued" together in the seams.  This creates a weak spot prone to workmanship error in one of the most critical areas of a window's design.

DuraLatch^TM
We use superior, grade 10 forced-entry-tested vent latches on each Elements Double Hung window.  When you're home, you can leave your windows open for ventilation and still fee secure.

ComfortFoam^TM
Every possible main-frame and sash chamber is fully insulated with softly expanding polyurethane foam insulation.  Environmentally friendly and CFC-free, ComfortFoam^TM has insulating properties that improve the overall thermal performance of Elements^TM Windows.  Don't be fooled by dubious claims of impressive thermal values of any one component of a window.  Look for the overall NFRC U-value to compare one window to another thermally.

EnduraForce^TM
Soft-Lite uses a heavy-duty Teflon® coated stainless-steel coil balance system.  The constant force produced by our 3/4" tempered coil makes it extremely easy to raise and lower sashes with an absolute minimum of effort.  Housed in a sound-deadening thermoplastic chamber for thermal improvement and cleanliness, EnduraForce^TM balancers are the quietest, smoothest way to open and close a window.

UltraSmart^TM Weather-stripping
Ultrafab® Tri-Fin® Gold Series weather-stripping, with built-in Ultra-Fresh® antimicrobial protection, minimizes drafts, dust and pollen and fights the growth of mold on the weather-stripping materials.

Three sturdy polyethylene fins provide additional barriers and diversions against air and water infiltration.  There are over 600" of weather-stripping in an average size double-hung window - more than twice as much protection then common windows provide.
