made to meet your specifications, and are available in either sliding or hinged
designs.
 Our
Thermal Glide is our most popular door system. It offers effortless operation
with durable, energy efficient, and maintenance-free dependability. Featuring a
heavy-duty pultruded fiberglass sill and adjustable, solid-brass tandem rollers
for smooth sliding panels, Thermal Glide is available in five standard door
sizes as well as custom-sized to meet your specific dimensions.
 Features
Fiberglass uPVC Sill
Providing
the ultimate protection against wear and tear, our pultruded sill is made with
one pultrusion of solid fiberglass. More rigid and durable than any other
sill material, fiberglass will not rot, crack, warp, or peel and is literally
impervious to water.
Fusion-Welded Sash
The Fusion-Welded Sash is reinforced with extruded metal that stabilizes the
long lengths of the stiles for durability and resistance to heavy use and
operation.
Engineered uPVC
The
interior profile of our main frames features carefully designed walls with
multiple chambers that both increase the structural stability of our door and
add thermal resistance to conductance and convection.
 Tempered
Safety Glass
Our glass panels in all our our doors are heated and cooled in a technical
factory process that strengthens glass significantly. If the glass is
somehow broken, it will shatter harmlessly into small pieces for protection
against dangerous shards.

Inch Insulating Glass
The
standard glass package we offer is easily converted to one of the many different
glass options we have available. Our glass options vary widely, from
beautiful beveled glass to thermally enhanced glass packages that work hard to
fight high energy bills.
Interlocking Panels
A popular feature in our windows, we added interlocks to our Thermal Glide
Patio Dorr to help prevent sash separation and to enhance the thermal properties
of the overall door system.
 Heavy-Duty
Tandem Rollers
Our patio door glides on four heavy-duty brass rollers which provide
long-lasting trouble-free operation. The rollers are easy to adjust from
the outside.
Housed in
a solid brass chassis designed for a lifetime of service, Thermal Glide Doors
feature two solid brass rollers in each of at least two roller units in every
sliding panel. This durable hardware requires no maintenance, is fully
adjustable to regulate the force necessary to slide the door open or shut, and
makes our doors simple and easy to operate. It rolls smoothly and quietly
on a solid, durable fiberglass track.
 Locking
Screen System
Thermal Glide comes with a strong, extruded screen
that has been designed to take years of heavy residential use. Its
heavy-duty rolling system and locking handle hardware operating features
complement the screen fabric to enhance the overall visual appeal of the door
system.
Options
 Dead
Bolt
This unique spring-loaded lock allows you to open the door for ventilation
while keeping the screen locked. It is fastened on the head of the frame
out of the reach of young children. It can be set in the open position to
prevent the passage of children or pets, or, in the closed position, it can be
used as a secondary lock.
 Door
Handle
Our standard wood handle has an optional key lock. The Legacy Solid
Brass handle comes standard with a key lock. Nickel hardware is also
available.
 4-Point
Locking System
For added security, purchase our Deluxe Brass Handle which comes standard
with our popular 4-point locking system and a key lock. Where other lock
sets afford one of two locking points, our Deluxe Brass Set runs the length of
the operating panel and has four different solid brass hooks that grip the frame
jamb at four points, top, middle, and bottom.
