Slider Windows About Slider Windows This style has a sash that opens horizontally to let fresh air flow in. Unlike the casement style, this style's sliding sash remains captive in the window’s frame, maximizing the interior space of your room.
Combining the unique features of the Element Double Hung, the Elements Slider allows additional style and operation choices for your home. The Elements Sliders bring increased versatility and maintenance freedom.
DecoFrameTM
Corners are fusion welded and automatically cleaned using the best robotic equipment available for the ultimate in quality consistency. Many lesser-quality vinyl and all fiberglass and wood windows are "screwed and glued" together in the seams. This creates a weak spot prone to workmanship error in one of the most critical areas of a window's design.
DuraLatchTM We use two superior, grade 10 forced-entry-tested vent latches on each Elements Double Hung Slider window. When you're home, you can leave your windows open for ventilation and still feel secure.
Three sturdy polyethylene fins provide additional barriers and diversions against air and water infiltration. There are over 600" of weather-stripping in an average size double-hung window - more than twice as much protection then common windows provide.
Elements Sliders feature solid brass rollers with solid steel axels housed in a thermoplastic chassis that lasts forever. Solid brass roller modules are positioned by our robotic computer-controlled equipment at exact balance points in each sash. They are smooth, durable, and quiet. Sliding open these sashes, even heavier sashes fitted with triple-pane or laminated glass, has never been easier.
